Carpenter – Residential Construction Company: Degagne Group Location: Corbeil, ON (Serving Nipissing District) Job Type: Full-Time About Us: Founded in 1988, the Degagne Group is a long-standing, family-owned group of companies based in Corbeil. We specialize in custom home building, residential renovations, and community development, with a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship and reliable service across the Nipissing District. Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside a professional crew to bring custom homes and renovation projects from start to finish, contributing to high-quality builds that reflect our company’s standards. Responsibilities: Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized job site Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, installation, and finishing work Install windows, doors, roof trusses, sheathing, and hardware Frame walls, floors, and structural components Safely operate hand and power tools (saws, drills, etc.) Set up and work from ladders and scaffolding as required Work independently or as part of a team to meet project timelines Read and interpret building plans Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years of carpentry experience Experience in custom home building or residential renovations Strong understanding of construction methods and materials Knowledge of job site safety standards and procedures Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and teamwork skills Valid driver’s license required What we offer Competitive Salary based on experience Paid sick days Paid time off between Christmas and New Year’s Group Health benefits including Vision, Dental, Paramedical, Life insurance and Disability insurance Group Retirement Saving Plan (RSP), with employer matching contributions Career Development Employee Engagement Activities Supportive and engaging work environment Discount on Gym Membership at Goodlife Fitness How to Apply Please submit your resume outlining your relevant experience.
