Location Address: 4 King Street W, 3rd floor. Work arrangement: 2-4 days in the office per week. Contract Duration: 12 months Extension: Consultants will be extended to 24 months Number of Positions: 4 Schedule Hours: 9 am – 5 pm. Overtime required? no. Reason: Building a new team Typical Day in Role: •Lead current-state process mapping, root cause analysis, and future-state process design to support strategic transformation priorities. • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders, define problems, and design practical solutions. • Partner with business leaders to identify, assess, prioritize, and implement high-impact process improvement opportunities. • Support process excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across Canadian Banking Operations to simplify workflows, reduce friction, improve productivity, and strengthen controls. Support the development of business cases, benefits estimates, and recommendations to support decision-making. •Develop and deliver executive reporting and presentations for relevant project/initiative governance forums •Manage related workstreams within initiatives and workstreams, including risks, dependencies, milestones, and benefit realization. •Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and data-driven decision making across Canadian Banking. •Identify opportunities and ensure the optimal sequence of waste elimination, automation & AI, and improved ways of working during process redesign •Act as a change agent to ensure the adoption of redesigned processes and new capabilities Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills: • 3-5 years of experience in process excellence, business transformation, operational improvement, consulting, project delivery, or related roles. Expertise in end‑to‑end process mapping, redesign, and optimization. • Experience working in banking, banking operations, financial services, fintech, or another highly regulated environment. • Demonstrated ability to assess business challenges, identify opportunities, and implement practical solutions that deliver measurable results. • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Whiteboard and process mapping tools such as Visio or Blue Works. • Experience developing executive presentations, dashboards, and reporting. Nice-To-Have Skills: • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; Black Belt, process excellence certification, or change management experience considered an asset. Best VS. Average Candidate: Best candidate is process‑savvy and stakeholder‑aligned. Brings solid experience working within structured processes, effectively aligning stakeholders across teams, and navigating complex financial institutions with confidence. Experience in change management and adoption planning. End‑product ownership. Demonstrates strong accountability for delivering complete, high‑quality end products and clearly identifying who provides each input or output throughout the process. Ensures practical, actionable deliverables that meet expectations and support downstream teams. Client‑centric mindset. Someone who is deeply focused on client needs, ensuring alignment, practical delivery, and strong stakeholder engagement. Best candidate is someone who delivers process excellence outputs such as process maps, current state assessments, and target state blueprints. •Successful execution of transformation initiatives and realization of business benefits. •Strong stakeholder engagement and adoption of process changes. •Contribution to the advancement of process excellence capabilities and continuous improvement culture across Canadian Banking. Candidates who only optimize workflows within tools, rather than across people + process + technology.
