Senior Business Analyst – Liquidity Risk & Financial Forecasting Line of Business / Business Group: Group Treasury / Global Liquidity and Funding Management Contract Duration: 6 months (ending December 31st 2026) with Extension Physical Office Location Address: Toronto Remote or Office: Hybrid – Minimum 3 days per week in the office (Wednesday, Friday, and one flexible day) and 2 days remote Schedule Hours: 37.5 hours per week and 9am-5pm EST This role supports the DSLB (Dynamic Liquidity Scenario Builder) project and the NCCF development within it. The team requires a business-side resource to enhance capacity on the NCCF development project within the DLSB platform, with a strong focus on requirements gathering and/or review and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Role Responsibilities: - Review, validate, and sign off on detailed business requirements for the Net Cumulative Cash Flow forecasting tool - Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality, accuracy, and alignment with business needs - Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and effective solution delivery - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technology solutions with business strategies - Gather, document, and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for developers - Support the development and enhancement of a financial forecasting tool, ensuring it meets operational and strategic objectives - Apply strong understanding of business functions to identify issues, recommend solutions, and drive process improvements - Provide support for complex business processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability - Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, enhance system performance, and improve user experience - Ensure that delivered solutions meet quality standards, business expectations, and compliance requirements Candidate Requirements: - 5–7 years of relevant experience in business analysis, liquidity risk, or financial systems - Advanced knowledge of liquidity metrics including NCCF, LCR, and NSFR is required - In-depth understanding of OSFI NCCF regulatory requirements, including: - Regulatory criteria, measurement and forecasting methodologies - NCCF treatment across products and business activities - Basic knowledge of programming languages to read code and understand basic functions - Prior experience with gathering/writing business requirements and performing UAT - Ability to increase operating efficiency and produce high-quality technical solutions - Excellent time management skills Nice-To-Have Skills: - Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage - Project management skills - Ability to conduct research using multiple sources to develop innovative solutions Educational Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Risk Management, or a related field is required. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree or certification is preferred. Best VS. Average Candidate: NCCF expertise is a clear advantage, along with prior experience in writing detailed business requirements and leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
