POSITION SUMMARY The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for preparing, serving, and selling food and beverage items at the snack bar while providing excellent customer service. This role ensures a positive guest experience by maintaining cleanliness, adhering to health and safety standards, and supporting efficient food service operations. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE * Prepare and serve snacks, beverages, and light meals according to company standards. * Operate cash registers, process payments accurately, and provide correct change. * Maintain knowledge of menu items and answer customer questions as needed. * Ensure timely service to guests, especially during peak periods. KITCHEN & SNACK BAR OPERATIONS * Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times. * Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. * Stock and replenish snack bar supplies, ingredients, and beverages as required. * Assist with inventory management and monitor product levels. * Report any equipment issues or supply shortages to the supervisor. CUSTOMER SERVICE & TEAMWORK * Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to guests. * Work collaboratively with other snack bar, lounge, and floor staff to support smooth operations. * Support a positive and safe work environment. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS * Previous food service or cashier experience preferred. * Food Handler Certification is an asset (or ability to obtain). * Ability to obtain and maintain an AGCO Gaming Assistant License. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs. WORKING CONDITIONS * Snack bar environment within a gaming facility. * Exposure to food preparation equipment, hot surfaces, and noise. * Fast-paced service with peak hours during evenings and weekends.
