Who We Are: At Det’on Cho Management LP (DCMLP), we strive to identify unique opportunities and explore niches in both traditional and modern northern economies. Our intent is to build capacity within the Yellowknives Dene First Nations community. We continuously explore and examine opportunities for collaborations with other Dene and First Nations organizations and with non-Indigenous organizations in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. What you will do Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for leading the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting & performance reporting processes for the Det’on Cho Group of Companies. This role provides forward-looking insights, strategic financial analysis, and ensures financial information is translated into meaningful insights which support data-driven decision-making & strengthening financial sustainability of the organization. What You Bring The successful candidate, will have obtained the following education and /or experience: * Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation preferred, completion of a post secondary degree in Finance or Commerce required. * Minimum 5+ years related experience, including supervisory experience of people and/or deliverables. * Proven financial management skills, including knowledge of the accounting cycle and the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is required. * Experience with multi-entity or multi-division organization is seen as an asset. * Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team * Proven leadership skills * Advanced knowledge of MS Excel * Familiarity with Yellowknives Dene language, culture and way of life would be considered assets What we offer In addition to a competitive salary and a great work environment, Det'on Cho Management LP also offers a generous benefits package, including: * Extended health, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage * Employee Assistance Program * Health and Wellness Program * Group Life Insurance and Employee Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage. * Defined Benefit Pension Plan (matched and mandatory) * Retirement Savings Plan and Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) optional (unmatched) * Vacation, Personal, and Sick Leave * Career Development and Training Programs Priority Hiring Statement: We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and supported. Exigences
