There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Group home Responsibilities Tasks Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs Assist clients/guests with special needs Accompany clients to appointments and social outings Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate First Aid Certificate CPR Certificate Experience and specialization Target audience Persons with an intellectual disability Persons with mental health disabilities Persons with physical disabilities Computer and technology knowledge MS Office Area of work experience Community service organization Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Driving record check (abstract) Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Ability to work independently Work under pressure Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability Efficient interpersonal skills Judgement Values and ethics Client focus Excellent written communication Initiative Benefits Financial benefits As per collective agreement
