Casual Residential Care Worker (RCW) positions are available in our Vancouver and Richmond group homes, supporting residents’ physical, emotional, social, and recreational needs. Job Title: Casual Residential Care Worker | #2219 Location: Vancouver/Richmond Start Date: ASAP Term/Status: Casual / On-Call Hourly Wage: $28.46 - $31.57 + 10.6% in lieu of benefits as per the collective agreement What We Offer: * On-the-job training * Professional development * Community involvement * An inclusive work environment Requirements/Education/Experience: * Degree or Diploma in an area directly related to supporting people with developmental disabilities, such as Social Services, Human Services, or Education * 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, or related equivalent experience * Experience with, or training in, areas of adaptive communication, positive behaviour support, and community care is an asset * Valid First Aid/CPR upon start date * Valid Class 5 Driver's License * Willingness to obtain a Class 4 Unrestricted Driver's License * Satisfactory Driver's Abstract * Criminal Record Clearance * TB Test Clearance * Medical clearance * Demonstrated competency in English, written, and oral communication * Eligible to work in Canada This position requires union membership.
