About the role The jumbo operator is part of the mine operations team. He/she ensures the advancement of the galleries. Essential Duties • Load blast holes and fire shots • Drill the blast holes according to the plans and specifications • Clean up his/her workplace and perform basic maintenance of equipment • Participate in the deployment of water, air and ventilation utilities • Ensure compliance with the health and safety rules regarding the position • Perform his/her tasks according to the Company's standards Training & Experience Professional Studies Diploma in ore extraction One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in a similar position Mining modules 1 to 5 and 7 Valid general explosives permit Valid driver's license Bilingualism (asset) Be accredited by the trainer on our various service equipment. Working Conditions Eleonore mine site (fly-in, fly-out from Montreal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val D'Or and Wemindji) Schedule: 14 working days followed by 14 days off
