About This Position As part of the Health Services Department, the Nurse is a member of the Health and Safety team. The incumbent is responsible for providing consultations and care to employees and making health-related recommendations. Key Responsibilities Comply with, understand, and promote company regulations and policies, particularly those related to health and safety. Apply medical prescriptions and protocols. Maintain confidentiality at all times. Initiate and manage workers’ compensation claims and follow-ups (CNESST). Monitor and manage disability cases (short-term and long-term). Collaborate with the Human Resources Department and operational departments. Assess employees to identify required care and treatment. Provide care in a remote-site environment in accordance with established protocols. Respond to medical emergencies across the entire mine site on a 24/7 basis. Perform on-call medical duties. Coordinate medical evacuations from site during emergencies. Maintain administrative medical records in accordance with professional standards and requirements. Educate and advise employees on health-related matters. Assist the physician during site visits. Manage pharmacy inventory and supplies. Deliver training sessions (Heroes in 30). Ensure follow-up of various programs as defined in the company-specific health program (pulmonary health program, biological monitoring, mandatory medical examinations, etc.). Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Education and Experience University or college diploma in Nursing. Expanded role training considered an asset. 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial nursing position. Experience in critical care and emergency nursing. Current CPR-AED certification. ACLS and ATLS certifications are assets. Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. Bilingualism (French and English) is essential. Skills and Competencies Strong team player. Respect for others and commitment to confidentiality. Working Conditions Éléonore Mine Site (fly-in/fly-out from Montreal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val-d'Or, and Wemindji). Schedule: 14 days on, followed by 14 days off.

Exigences

Candidates must hold a university or college diploma in Nursing and possess 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial nursing setting. Essential qualifications include critical care experience, current CPR-AED certification, and bilingualism in English and French.
