Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Outdoors. Work setting: Industrial. Residential. Various locations. Tasks: Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster. Clean and prepare surfaces. Cure freshly plastered surfaces. Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required. Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency. Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings. Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces. Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outlets. Repair cracks and holes. Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
