We are looking for a Floor Builder/Forklift Operator for our location in Airdrie, AB. The successful candidate would be responsible for the timely and accurate assembly of finished trusses as well as participating in routine floor shop maintenance and involvement in the ZyTech Quality Control and Health and Safety programs. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Build Floor order as per standard operating procedures or as dictated by the Production Manager. * Inspect and/or measure precut lumber for length and possible damage or irregularities associated with quality control and standard operating procedures. * Upon completing a floor order, the Floor Builder will proceed to build subsequent orders or report to the Production Manager for further instructions * Receive incoming shipments, offloading trucks with the sit-down counterbalance forklift or by hand. * Routine lifting, repetitive hammering motions and getting up and down off the jigs is required and as such safe work practices should be adhered to * All other duties as assigned by Production Manager REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum 1 year of carpentry/framing or related experience preferred. * Experience operating a Forklift required. * Previous construction experience considered an asset * Use and maintain various hand tools and pneumatic tools * Experience operating forklifts and a valid operator’s license would an asset. * Basic math skills and the ability to use an imperial tape measure is required * Steel-toed work boots and appropriate clothing to work outside are required, PPE (personal protective equipment) will be provided We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and dental coverage, a company pension plan, and paid time off. Exigences

Requires forklift operation experience and a valid license, along with basic math and imperial measurement skills. A minimum of one year of carpentry or framing experience is preferred.
