Title: Uncertified Journeyperson Millwright ID: 622 Location: Schedule: 4x3 Hourly Rate: $51.93 Purpose The successful applicant must be competent in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining Surface mechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Responsibilities Responsible for troubleshooting, installing, disassembling, repairing, and performing predictive and preventive maintenance on surface stationary equipment. IE: pumps, conveyors, crushers, mills, compressors, rock breakers. Responsible for compliance with OHSA, Corporate and PGM Environmental Regulations, Safety and Sustainability Standards. Responsible to work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals both within the department and cross-department. Must be highly motivated, organized and must be capable of decision-making. Responsible for providing own tools. Must be able to work with a team or alone as required. Assisting in other works areas may be required. Training and Education working towards a Licensed as a Industrial Mechanic-Millwright required Good knowledge of compressors, pumps and hoisting plant including conveyance, pumps, crushers, compressors, mills, agitators, piping and hydraulic system such as rock breaking system. Candidates must be working towards a Millwright license with 3-5 years of trade experience in mining or manufacturing. Proficiency in maintaining hydraulic systems and basic computer skills in Windows software are required.
