Summary DMC is currently looking for a Supervisor, Raise Bore, to join our team on a full-time contract basis, based in Sudbury, ON. The Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of raise drill, crew, equipment, and projects. This role requires flexibility to travel. The Raise Bore Supervisor will demonstrate DMC’s core values of: Zero Harm, Teamwork, Results Driven, Courage and Accountability. Responsibilities Organizes and implements, mobilization, setup, work performed, tear down and demobilization of raise drill, crew and equipment, both on and off site Works within the contract presented to the client Supervises crews and coordinates the activities of the workers in surface and underground mining projects Conducts weekly safety meetings and provides a safe work environment. May require to provides training to raise bore crews Daily documentation and correspondence between client and company on performance of raise drill, crew and equipment Takes responsibility for aspects of occupational health and safety, and environmental matters, over which the individual has control, including adherence to all requirements applicable to DMC Ensure that all direct reports in the workplace take responsibility for aspects of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment over which they have control including adherence to all Occupational Health & Safety requirements applicable to DMC Mining Services Other duties as may be assigned from time to time Qualifications Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar supervisory role Ontario Common Core modules (Supervisor) and specialty raise bore modules. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe working environment Solid oral and written communication skills Strong computer skills Able to work rotation day and night shifts Able and willing to travel as required Experience supervising staff (Directly or indirectly) Valid drivers license require Working Environment Working in office setting Travel to work site locations. Site conditions may include: outdoors, dark, wet, inclement weather, and uneven ground. Sitting for prolonged periods of time Vehicle - passenger or driver. Able to work rotation day and night shifts Able and willing to travel as required Additional Information We are hiring to fill an existing vacancy. Hourly rate is expected to be: $30 (CAD) + hourly incentive bonus. Comprehensive benefits and retirement plan. This role will be performed on-site.
