Entry Level Labourer

The location in Skookumchuck, British Columbia, Canada, is seeking talent to fill the position of Entry Level Labourer. This job is full-time permanent. This job posting is utilized to register with Paper Excellence Skookumchuck and submit a cover letter, resume, and copy of your high school transcript for consideration for entry level labourers in our pulp mill. Hourly rate of pay will be per the 2021 - 2025 PPWC Local 15 Labour Agreement ($34.720/hour). Successful candidates will be required to: * provide physically demanding labouring work in all areas of the mill, providing vacation and training relief * work a shift rotation (days and nights) * duties and job requirements will include but are not restricted to: * operating mobile equipment for extended periods * being on your feet for extended periods * working in hot and noisy conditions * having good visual perception * being computer literate To qualify you must: * a copy of your Grade 12 transcripts from High School * possess a valid Canadian driver’s license * have a demonstrated a capacity to learn * possess a history of safe work performance Documents required to be considered for the hiring process: * Resume (PDF Format) * High School Transcript (PDF Format) * Optional: any other certifications or post-secondary transcripts (PDF Format) Please note, preference will be given to those with relevant industrial experience. Successful candidates will be required to perform physically demanding labouring work across all areas of the pulp mill, including providing vacation and training relief work on a shift rotation schedule involving days and nights. Duties encompass operating mobile equipment for extended periods and working in hot and noisy conditions.

To qualify, applicants must possess a copy of their Grade 12 transcripts, hold a valid Canadian driver’s license, demonstrate a capacity to learn, and have a history of safe work performance. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant industrial experience.
