Tester, Level 3

Donna Cona Inc. is seeking an experienced Tester (Level 3) for an upcoming contract opportunity with one of our Canadian federal government clients. Location: Fully Remote (Canada) Duration: Approximately 3 months Security: Enhanced Reliability Clearance required We’re Looking For Senior-level software/application testing experience Experience creating and maintaining Test Plans, Test Suites and Test Cases in Azure DevOps (ADO) Strong acceptance, functional and regression testing experience Ability to validate application functionality against business and technical requirements Experience identifying, documenting and tracking defects SQL experience, particularly for data validation, BI/Data Analytics and reporting-related testing Experience with accessibility testing/assessments Strong documentation and analytical skills Experience testing GIS/geospatial or interactive mapping applications, including Esri/ArcGIS, would be a strong asset but is not mandatory. Candidate MUST Have The Following A valid security clearance at the level of Reliability; A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a testing role; A minimum of ten (10) years of experience within the last 15 years as of the issuance date of the task authorization, designing, developing and executing test strategies, plans and scripts for large (minimum of 100 users), enterprise-level solutions; A minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last five years as of the issuance date of the task authorization, developing, conducting and monitoring testing solutions in a BI/EDW, or Data Analytics and Reporting environment; including the following: a) Back-end data ETL; b) Front-end data visualizations; and Movement of data between a) and b); A minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years as of the issuance date of the task authorization, planning, coordinating and reporting on testing efforts for large (minimum of 100 users), enterprise-level solutions; A minimum of five years of experience within the last 10 years as of the issuance date of the task authorization, planning, performing and evaluating solution testing, including all of the following: Functional testing; System testing; Usability testing; Regression testing; Integration testing; Validation testing; A minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years as of the issuance date of the task authorization, working with and supporting clients in their performance of User Acceptance Testing (UAT); A minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last ten (10) years as of the issuance date of the task authorization, writing test scripts using SQL to facilitate data testing against a backend RDBMS; and A minimum of two (2) years of professional work experience within the last five (5) years as of the issuance date of the Task Authorization, in each of the technology, software, tool, or technique identified in the TA as essential Donna Cona is committed to a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace. The role involves creating and maintaining test plans, suites, and cases within Azure DevOps to validate application functionality against requirements. Responsibilities include executing functional, regression, and accessibility testing, specifically for BI, data analytics, and potentially GIS applications.

Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of testing experience and a valid Reliability security clearance. Specific expertise is required in SQL for backend data testing and experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for enterprise-level solutions.
