Title: Adjunct Instructor, Pharmacy Practice - 250030 Position Number: 250030 Unit/Department: Pharmacy Practice Salary: Per credit hour Job Summary: The Adjunct Instructor in Pharmacy Practice will teach in the Pharmacy Skills and Application series over the course of the year. The Pharmacy Skills and Applications series will incorporate skills from nine basic areas: professionalism, communications, calculations, clinical reasoning, cultural competence, drug information, distribution systems and processes, health/wellness, and systems management. All activities are developed to integrate knowledge learned in other courses with their practical applications in pharmacy practice. Each week is comprised of a one-hour lecture and 2 – 3 sections of a two-hour lab. The instructor must have completed a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelors in Pharmacy. Residency training is preferred, but not required.
