Title: Application Operations Facilitator - 998775 Position Number: 998775 Unit/Department: Admissions & Enrollment Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience Department Summary: We welcome a dynamic and organized individual to join our Admission team at Drake University! The Office of Admission reviews approximately 10,000 undergraduate applications to the Drake annually. Job Summary: The Applications Operations Facilitator is responsible for managing the application flow for domestic and international applicants. Responsibilities include document review and assessment, incoming and outgoing communication with applicants, their families, secondary school personnel as well as members of the admission team and campus community, and data coordination. An excellent attention to detail and a strong customer service mindset are skills vital to being successful in this role. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook Preferred Qualifications: Prior work in a higher or secondary education office setting Prior database experience Prior customer service experience Job Duties: * 25% - Evaluate high school and college transcripts. Convert non-standard GPAs. Combine GPAs to formulate an overall transfer GPA when applicable. Make decisions regarding transfer of credits. - (Essential) * 20% - Maintain application file status by checking documents and incoming materials for accuracy and completeness, and cross-referencing information by keeping the file checklist up to date. - (Essential) * 20% - Receive and respond to external and internal phones calls, emails and other informational requests - (Essential) * 15% - Coordinate outgoing mailings - (Essential) * 10% - Track & maintain publication inventory levels - (Essential) * 5% - Assist on Campus Visit Days - (Essential) * 5% - Supervise assigned work study students - (Essential) Special Instructions to Applicants: For consideration, you must apply online.
