We are currently looking for Part-Time Rental Consultant to join our rentals team at Driving Force Fleet Solutions in our Terrace location. What Moves You: You genuinely care about helping others and providing the highest level of customer service. You handle multiple priorities with composure and clarity. You’re ultra-organized and always on time because you know it’s important to clients. What You’ll Do: Warmly greets customers and handles phone calls, emails, and queries with professionalism and efficiency. Provide exceptional service throughout the rental process, from managing reservations, generating quotes for short-term rentals, to finalizing rental agreements, processing payments, and completing necessary paperwork. Maintain consistent communication with customers, ensuring they are well-informed about rental terms and conditions before requesting signatures on all relevant documents. Conduct thorough walk-around inspections with customers, obtaining their authorization via signature. Perform daily checks on the drop box, processing rental returns, evaluating vehicle’s condition upon return, and offering recommendations for necessary maintenance if repairs are deemed necessary. Ensure vehicle availability and prepare rental units for delivery, including driving, cleaning, and fueling vehicles as needed. What You Bring: 1 year's retail customer service experience is preferred. Experience in the automotive or rental industry is an asset. Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Strong computer skills and you know your way around Microsoft Office. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking. Clear pre-employment security clearance. Ability to prioritize and multi-task with keen attention to detail. Abstract acceptable to The Driving Force Group of Companies Driver and Vehicle Safety Program.
