DRW is a place of high expectations, integrity, innovation and a willingness to challenge consensus. We are currently hiring a Data Analyst to join our Event Analysis and Insight team. Candidates must have a passion for data manipulation and visualization and the ability to think both independently and collaboratively. They will work on the analysis of post event data, reports and providing insight. Candidates must be comfortable working within a fast-paced, and at times highly demanding environment. They must possess a keen sense of enthusiasm and attention to detail, as well as a sense of commitment and dedication to both teams. You’ll feel right at home if you: Have at least 1 year of relevant experience. Have exceptional attention to detail and data gathering skills Are great at finding patterns Are great at presenting findings Love digging through data in search of clues Strong desire to leverage the use of AI Are able to balance several time sensitive requests Have effective communication skills (oral and written) Are extremely organized Are willing to learn and adapt to a quickly-changing environment Have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a related field - economics, finance, commerce, Information Technology or computer science Have a good knowledge of Python for data manipulation and visualization Thrive in environments where multitasking is routine and can prioritize tasks effectively. Thrive in a fast-paced working environment Ability to work off hours when necessary What you’ll be working on: Analyzing non-financial post event data in order to gain insight and discover potential issues. Creating reports and visualizations to help bring forward relevant information to the stake holders. Collaborating with the development team to improve and/or create the necessary analysis tools. Creating issue tickets and following up with the appropriate teams. Participating in the research effort revolving around the trade strategies. Developing necessary scripts for data gathering and manipulation.
