Electrician Hourly Rate: $51.821 Dryden Fibre Canada is currently seeking an individual to become part of our Finance Team. The City of Dryden is located on the North shoreline of the Wabigoon Chain of Lakes along the Trans-Canada Highway. It is located midway between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is surrounded by wilderness, lakes, and landscapes. Responsibilities include: * PLC troubleshooting. * Working on low and medium voltage systems. * Maintenance and troubleshooting experience with motors and motor controls. * Troubleshooting, calibrating and repairing process control equipment. * Working from schematics, drawings and prints when troubleshooting. Your profile: * A valid Interprovincial “Red Seal” Electrician Certificate. * A positive work attitude and a keen sense of responsibility. * Effective communication skills - both verbal and written. * Experience in the Pulp and Paper industry will be considered an asset. * Must have a safety-oriented mindset with the desire to enforce and follow mill safety and environmental policies and procedures. The Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting PLCs, maintaining low and medium voltage systems, and repairing process control equipment. They must work from schematics and drawings to ensure the efficient operation of mill machinery.

Candidates must possess a valid Interprovincial Red Seal Electrician Certificate and a safety-oriented mindset. Experience in the pulp and paper industry is considered a strong asset.
