Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant

Overview Pay - 16-17 - £8.00 per hour. 18+ - £12.71 per hour. Your local store is looking for a minimum 12hrs per week Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant. You’ll take pride in every cup you pour, build expert knowledge of our product range and meaningfully connect with our customers. Whether it’s a regular grabbing their usual or a first-time visitor, you’ll make sure every customer leaves feeling better than when they arrived. It’s a busy, hands-on role that takes energy, focus and a fair bit of graft. What you'll be doing Whilst meeting high standards for Health and Safety and Food Hygiene, our Coffee Shop Assistants function as part of a tight knit team, working well under pressure and excelling in product knowledge to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers. Be customer obsessed – consistently consider the impact of your actions on the customer experience, and strive to deliver joyful experiences in the most effective and thoughtful way Serving hot and cold beverages that delight our customers Dishing up our delicious savoury and sweet food items, ensuring presentation sparks joy Ensuring all cooked food is nice and hot so they can be enjoyed as intended Keeping the restaurant tables clear and sanitised as promptly as possible to maintain our customers high expectations Providing an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, service area and restaurant Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to support strong CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) scores, ensuring every customer receives a welcoming, helpful, and memorable experience. As part of this role you will be working and in contact with a variety of different ingredients including dairy, nuts, meat products including pork What we'll look for in you You are customer obsessed - you put customers first in every interaction You’re flexible, able to work across the weekends and evenings You have previous experience working closely with a team and you’ll ideally have prior work experience in a similar environment You are a friendly, hard-working individual who loves to provide a joyful customer dining experience You are a team player who never fails to contribute and loves the satisfaction of a job well done and a smile on our customers faces We’re not after a carbon copy of anyone else. Candidates should be customer-obsessed, flexible to work evenings and weekends, and possess a hardworking attitude. Previous experience in a similar team-based environment is preferred.
