We take pride in providing our customers with quality food products and top-notch service and we are looking for an energetic and determined individual to join our office team!Dutchie's Fresh Food Market offers an assortment of fruits and vegetables, local dairy products, fresh baked breads and other homemade treats. We also operate a large full-service meat counter. We are passionate about good food and great service and as such this position requires an individual who also shares and displays this same passion!Role & Responsibilities:Sharpen and adjust the cutting equipmentReceive, inspect, and store meat upon deliveryCut, bone, or grind pieces of meatWeigh, wrap, and display cuts of meatCut or prepare meats to specification or customer?s ordersStore meats in refrigerators or freezers at the required temperatureClean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standardsCome up with new ideas for our food preparation programKeep up to date with food trendsPrepare specialty products for customersControl department shrink through inventory, FIFO and quality controlShifts vary throughout the day between 5am - 11 pm.Salary: $22.00 - $30.00 depending on experienceJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentSchedule:8 hour shiftOvertimeAbility to commute/relocate:Kitchener, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Meat cutting 1 year (required)
