The positions will be based out of our Burns Lake, Smithers or Terrace office. What We Offer: * Flexible work/life balance and a supportive, tight‑knit team * A comprehensive benefits package, including extended health, bonus program, RRSP matching, professional development allowances, and more * Opportunities to grow and build your career within a team that recognizes and develops talent * A fun, professional, and safety‑first work environment * Relocation Allowance Job Responsibilities: The responsibilities for a Forestry Specialist will include, but are not limited to: * Leading the field crew in data collection and various field duties * Supporting the project managers on several phases of projects execution * Coordinating between project managers and team members, sub-contractors and consultants * Ensuring work meets the established standards for quality control and for safety. * Preparing reports and professional assessments * Supporting on various tasks as required. Qualifications: * A minimum of 3 to 5 years of project management / coordination experience in the forestry sector * RPF or RFT designation is required, FIT nearing registration will also be considered * Strong Professional communication and organizational skills * Experience designing resource roads in RoadEng 11 is an asset * Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driving License; experience driving 4x4 trucks and ATVs is an asset * Physically fit and able to work outdoors; willing to work in diverse and demanding conditions Compensation: * The pay range for this position is $34- $38 per hour; pay will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
