Overview: We are seeking a motivated, positive, and dependable full-time Forestry Technician to join our team of Resource Professionals working for the Capital Projects Department. Qualifications: * Registered or eligible for registration with FPBC is an asset but not mandatory * Resource field experience is an asset but not required * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and Apple IOS * Physically fit and able to work outdoors; willing to work in diverse and demanding weather conditions * Strong commitment to safe work practices * Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driving License; experience driving 4x4 trucks and ATVs is an asset Compensation: * The pay range for this position is $24- $28 per hour; pay will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Forestry Technician is responsible for collecting field data and preparing written summaries and assessments for various projects. They will also participate in natural resource management activities and collaborate with clients to achieve project objectives.

Candidates should be physically fit for outdoor work in diverse weather conditions and possess a valid Class 5 British Columbia driver's license. Experience with Microsoft Office and Apple IOS is required, while registration with FPBC and resource field experience are considered assets.
