Responsibilities Work on complex insurance defence and civil litigation matters. Experience in handling claims for private insurers (property & bodily injury) is an asset. Participate in examinations for discovery, mediations, court appearances, and trials. Develop litigation strategy, manage client relationships, and take on increasing file responsibility. Receive hands-on mentorship from experienced litigators. Collaborate with leading lawyers across Canada and DWF's global network. Access professional and business development opportunities that support long-term career growth. What will help you succeed in this role? At least 3 years of post-call civil litigation experience. Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills. Familiarity with the BC Supreme Court Civil Rules and litigation procedures. Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills. Sound professional judgment, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach. Compensation Ranging from $143,000 - $175,000 depending upon year of call and experience.
