Summary of the Role Reporting to the Fleet Mechanic Foreman, the Fleet and Equipment Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, service, and repairs on all E.S. Fox Fleet equipment. Key Responsibilities Check and maintain aerial work platforms, forklifts, and various other construction equipment to ensure proper performance. Diagnose malfunctions or faults with computerized equipment and determine extent of repairs. Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, cleaning, and parts replacement as required. Review and complete work orders. Always maintain a clean and safe work environment. Key Requirements, Experience and Skills A license such as a 421A - Heavy Duty Equipment Technician would be an asset. Completion of formal training at a recognized Equipment manufacturer (Ex. JLG, JCB) would be an asset. Strong technical knowledge. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in construction equipment repairs. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365. Ability to accurately troubleshoot and diagnose repairs. Other Requirements Clean drivers abstract and criminal record check. Must have their own set of tools. Working at Heights and Elevated work platform training. Attributes Positive attitude and Initiative are required. Willingness to take on new challenges.
