We are looking for motivated Event Cooks to enhance our kitchen team at Beach House in West Vancouver. As an Event Cook, you have a passion for food and hospitality, a commitment to excellence, and a desire to learn and grow. Our event business is one of the busiest event spaces on the North Shore. This is a highly skilled, fast paced role and requires someone with previous culinary experience who is able to finesse high quality food at lightning speed with a keen eye for detail. We are part of the Earls restaurant group and have many opportunities to learn and grow in the company! As an Event Cook, you will: Be responsible for both day and evening execution of events ranging from 20 to 100 people. Be responsible for both the prep and execution of the events. If there is any downtime from events, you will be scheduled as a prep team support and line cook in our business to maintain your hours. What we need from you: A passion for culinary experiences and a commitment to teamwork and fun. A commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging experience for your team members and guests. A willingness to learn and an openness to feedback, coaching, and mentorship. Food Safe Level 1 is a bonus. The ability to legally work in Canada.
