Join us for our 2017 Commencement Celebration!

The Department of Earth, Planetary, and Space Sciences (EPSS) invites all of our graduating students and award recipients, along with their families and friends, to join the EPSS faculty at a special 2017 Commencement Celebration lunch and awards ceremony on Saturday, June 17, 2017, from 12:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event will take place on the Young Hall Patio (located between the Geology Building and Young Hall). A special Commencement address will be delivered by Stanford University Professor W. Gary Ernst, former Chair of the EPSS Department. Date: June 17, 2017 Time: 12:45 p.m. Location: Young Hall Patio The Department of Earth, Planetary, and Space Sciences (EPSS) invites all of our graduating students and award recipients, along with their families and friends, to join the EPSS faculty at a special 2017 Commencement Celebration lunch and awards ceremony on Saturday, June 17, 2017, from 12:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event will take place on the Young Hall Patio (located between the Geology Building and Young Hall). A special Commencement address will be delivered by Stanford University Professor W. Gary Ernst, former Chair of the EPSS Department. The Celebration will feature a luncheon buffet, introduction of graduate degree and baccalaureate degree candidates, a valedictory speech, presentation of Departmental scholarships and awards, and a group photo (graduates, please remember to bring your cap and gown from the College of Letters & Science Commencement event on Friday, June 16, or the Graduate Division Doctoral Hooding ceremony on Thursday, June 15, for the photo). There will be a charge of $25 per person, except for graduating students and award recipients, who will receive a complimentary ticket to attend free of charge.

This is not a job posting, but an invitation to a commencement celebration and awards ceremony. The event involves a luncheon, a commencement address, and the presentation of scholarships.

Attendance is open to graduating students, award recipients, families, and friends. Graduating students are requested to bring their cap and gown for a group photo.
