ABOUT THE ROLE As an Editorial & Research Associate (Geology), you will transform complex technical and market information into clear, engaging content for EarthLabs. You'll leverage your mining or Earth Science expertise, analytical mindset, strong writing abilities, and proficiency with AI-powered tools to support high-quality editorial content and digital publishing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise, analytical thinking, and storytelling to make complex mining and earth science topics accessible to A diverse audience. WE WILL TRUST YOU TO… (SCOPE OF WORK) Research & Analysis. Research, analyze, and interpret geological, mining, technical, financial, and market information to identify trends, insights, and newsworthy developments. Content Development. Create, write, edit, and fact-check accurate, engaging content across multiple formats, translating complex technical information into content for investors, industry professionals, and broader audiences. AI-Enabled Research & Editorial. Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance research, data analysis, content development, and editorial workflows while maintaining accuracy and editorial integrity. Editorial Collaboration & Publishing. Collaborate with editors and cross-functional teams to support editorial planning, content production, publishing, and multimedia initiatives. Innovation & Special Projects. Contribute to research initiatives, special editorial projects, industry event coverage, and the development of new content formats, products, and digital experiences. YOU WILL NEED TO BE/BRING… (QUALIFICATIONS) Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Earth Science, Geology, Mining or another related discipline. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and research skills, with the ability to synthesize technical, scientific, and market information into meaningful insights. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and engaging content. Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-powered tools to support research, analysis, content creation, and workflow efficiency. Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to verify information while maintaining high standards of accuracy and editorial integrity. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the mining, resources, or a related industry. Experience writing, editing, or publishing technical, scientific, or industry-related content. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Earth Science, Geology, or a related field, along with strong analytical and writing skills. Experience in the mining industry and proficiency with AI tools are preferred.
