Reports to the CDC, Central Kitchen. Prepares sandwiches to order at our guest-facing sandwich station Completes food preparation assignments in a neat, accurate and timely manner Follows recipes and complies with portion sizes, quality standards, department rules and procedures and Department of Health regulations Restocks ingredients as needed Cleans all utensils, preparation equipment and counters required for production Performs other duties as required or assigned Qualifications Food service/kitchen experience preferred Experience in a guest-facing environment Good knife skills and finger dexterity to use small tools and utensils adeptly High school diploma or equivalent preferred Job Requirements Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and exert well-paced mobility Ability to spend up to 8 hours standing or walking in a kitchen and restaurant environment Ability to work with commercial equipment including stand mixers, ovens, torches, etc. Compensation Compensation for this role is CAD $18.00-$21.00 hourly This position has been posted to fill a current vacancy Additional Information Benefits and Perks Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave RRSP Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine Referral bonus program and more! Previous food service or kitchen experience and a high school diploma are preferred. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for 8 hours, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
