The Market Associate also supports with our retail products. Reporting to the Market Manager. Provides service across all QSR counters Completes food preparation assignments neatly, accurately and in a timely manner Sets up stations and replenishes displays neatly including separation of allergens (nuts, wheat, etc.) Ensures all items are dated and following First in First Out (FIFO) standards Prepares necessary collateral, weighs, labels, packages and serves products Complies with department policies and quality, health, safety and sanitation standards Operates a cash register and ensures accuracy of cash drops and authenticity of bills Ensures the sales floor is well maintained and stocked at all times Utilizes sales techniques to maximize store sales performance Builds and maintains relationships with guests Participates in processes and procedures related to the department Focuses on details with a firm, clear and highly professional style Performs other duties as required or assigned Qualifications Outstanding communication and guest service skills Experience operating a cash register preferred Prior food service experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent preferred Smart Serve Certification Compensation Compensation for this role is CAD $18.00 hourly, plus tips This position has been posted to fill a current vacancy Additional Information Benefits and Perks Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave RRSP Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine Referral bonus program and more! The Market Sales Associate provides exceptional guest service across various QSR counters, serving Italian treats and supporting retail product sales. Responsibilities include food preparation, maintaining stock levels, and operating the cash register while adhering to health and safety standards.

Candidates should have outstanding communication skills and preferably have experience with cash registers and food service. A high school diploma and Smart Serve Certification are preferred.
