We're looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy workshop. Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating workflow, supporting and developing technicians, ensuring warranty compliance, and delivering the high standards of quality and customer experience expected of a premium dealership. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Workshop Controller, Foreman or Senior Technician looking to step into a leadership role with one of the world's most prestigious automotive brands. About The Role You'll be the central link between the workshop, Service Advisors and Parts team, ensuring work is completed efficiently, profitably and to Jaguar Land Rover standards. Key Responsibilities Include Coordinating daily workshop operations to maximise productivity and workshop efficiency Allocating repair work and monitoring technician workloads Working closely with the Parts department to ensure required parts are available for scheduled jobs Ensuring repairs are completed to manufacturer standards and within agreed timeframes Managing warranty repair documentation and ensuring compliance with Jaguar Land Rover warranty requirements Monitoring workshop performance against productivity, utilisation and customer satisfaction targets Supporting, coaching and developing technicians and apprentices Maintaining a safe, organised and professional workshop environment Driving continuous improvement across workshop processes and customer service About you You'll be an organised leader who enjoys bringing out the best in your team while keeping a busy workshop running smoothly. To Be Successful You'll Ideally Have Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Foreman or senior automotive workshop leader Strong automotive technical knowledge Experience managing workshop workflow and technician productivity Sound understanding of warranty processes and repair documentation Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service A focus on health, safety and continuous improvement Experience with Jaguar Land Rover or other premium vehicle brands will be highly regarded but is not essential.
