Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Tasks Interpret welding process specifications Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications Determine weldability of materials Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment Support for newcomers and refugees Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees Support for youths Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week

The welder will interpret welding process specifications and operate various welding equipment. They will also examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and provide support and training for newcomers and youth.

Candidates must have a secondary school graduation certificate and 1 to 2 years of experience in welding. The role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
