Role Description This is a full-time role for a Drafting Technician, based in New Liskeard, ON. The Drafting Technician will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, collaborating with team members, and ensuring designs comply with engineering and industry standards. Other tasks include assisting in project planning and providing accurate documentation related to the projects, maintaining inventory and ordering materials. Qualifications Proficiency in Technical Drawing and the ability to produce detailed and accurate designs Experience in creating Mechanical Drawings and expertise in general Drawing techniques Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders Previous experience in the agriculture or construction industry is a plus Relevant academic background or certification related to drafting, or a related field Proficiency in design and drafting software, such as Solid Edge is an asset Experience with hydraulics and basic electricity is also an asset

The Drafting Technician creates detailed technical drawings and ensures designs comply with engineering and industry standards. Additional duties include project planning, documentation, inventory maintenance, and material ordering.

Candidates should be proficient in technical and mechanical drawing, preferably with experience in Solid Edge and knowledge of hydraulics and electricity. A relevant academic background or certification in drafting is required, with experience in agriculture or construction being an asset.
