Job Title: APPLICATIONS ENGINEERING CO-OP Location: Cambridge, ON | On-site Job Type: Full-time Compensation: $26.00/hr Benefits: RRSP, health/dental/vision package, reimbursement for tuition and professional dues, paid vacation, personal days, and sick days. The Position The Applications Engineering Co-op will provide administrative support to the Applications Engineering Department and to ensure effective, efficient and accurate administrative is provided on the company’s behalf. Work directly with Partners, Management Employees and Customers to deliver the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture. What You’ll Be Doing General office duties using Microsoft Office Suite Organizing documents, binders and other information coming in from the Customers Assisting in obtaining Vendor pricing Modifying documents generated within the department – good project management skills Printing various documents on mass using MS Office, AutoCAD etc. when required by Applications Carry out any specific duties assigned by the Applications Supervisor. Contribute accurate documentation for each project These responsibilities are subject to change as a function of the individual’s abilities Maintain good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate Vision Adhere to all Health and Safety rules and procedures Complete other duties and projects as assigned Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc. Conduct Code What We’re Looking For Working on a post-secondary engineering degree, diploma or equivalent, specializing in mechanical, electrical, systems or computer engineering. Strong programming, mechanical and electrical problem solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Understanding of robotics, control systems and machine operation with hands-on experience is desirable. A self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
