Job Description About the Role As a member of our Project Engineering team, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Participate in economic and technical feasibility studies for oil & gas facility and pipeline projects, as well as detailed planning and design; Prepare and implement specifications, cost estimations, equipment scope and deliverables in accordance with project requirements; Assist in problem solving that arises during project or assignment execution; Prepare, interpret or review calculations, specifications, plans, investigations, systems or equipment with increasing levels of complexity; Contribute to the ongoing development of our engineering tools, processes and standards; Work with drafting staff to prepare and interpret schematic, process and equipment drawings, layouts and other deliverables; Perform review and evaluation of equipment vendor data and drawings and coordinate with supplier and client personnel; Prepare regulatory submissions for facility projects to the AER, ABSA and other bodies as required; and Coordinate material and equipment procurement and scheduling with vendor and field personnel during construction phases. Qualifications Engineering degree from an accredited university with 3 to 10 years relevant experience; Registration as a Member in Training or Professional Engineer with APEGA; Previous comparable EPCM experience would be an asset Knowledge of applicable provincial and federal design codes and safety laws; Ability to effectively communicate with clients and suppliers; Working knowledge of engineering computer programs, work planning and control methods; Ability to work and adapt in a flexible, fast-paced environment; Travel as required to ensure the successful execution of projects; and Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
