Job Description We're looking for a Junior Environmental Planner to support multidisciplinary infrastructure and environmental projects across Ontario and Canada. This role will focus on environmental assessment, permitting, regulatory approvals, stakeholder coordination, and project support primarily within the infrastructure sector, with experience in mining, rail, and nuclear sectors considered an asset. The successful candidate will contribute technical and project coordination support throughout various phases of project development, including planning, environmental assessment, permitting, detailed design support, and implementation. The role also includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, supporting proposal and business development activities, and contributing to the continued growth of Egis’ environmental planning practice. Assist with Environmental Assessment (EA) across federal, provincial, and municipal frameworks Assist with multidisciplinary project teams and client relationships Assist with permitting, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance Assist in delivering high-quality technical reports and proposals Assist with project budgets, schedules, and financials Qualifications Degree in Environmental Planning, Science, or a related field < 3 years experience in environmental consulting Knowledge of: MTO & Municipal Class EA Provincial Class or Individual EA Excellent communication and collaboration skills Willingness to travel as needed Why Join Us?
