Job Description About the Role: We are looking for a motivated Junior Environmental Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be expected to: Conduct Phase I/II ESAs and Remediations, both to CSA and O.Reg. 153/04 Standards; Conduct sampling and reporting associated with Excess Soils project (O.Reg. 406/19); Conduct fieldwork and reporting associated with Hydrogeological Assessments, including but not limited to infiltration testing, pumping tests, single-well response tests, and groundwater sampling; Perform fieldwork and reporting associated with major projects, including 'nation-builder' infrastructure jobs across the province; Travel and/or work nights and weekends occasionally, work outdoors in challenging conditions, as required; and Perform other duties as may be required. Qualifications The successful candidate must possess: University or college education in environmental science, geology, engineering, biology, or a related field; 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in environmental consulting, with proven proficiency in Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, hydrogeological assessments, and/or excess soils projects; Technical knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04, Ontario Regulation 406/19, and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) guidelines; Demonstrated competency in fieldwork execution, including sampling protocols and soil/groundwater assessment techniques; Excellent technical report writing, note-taking, and documentation skills with attention to regulatory compliance; Valid driver's license and willingness to travel; Strong communication and coordination abilities; and Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in fast-paced environments. The role involves conducting Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, remediations, and hydrogeological assessments. The candidate will perform fieldwork and reporting for major infrastructure projects and excess soils projects in compliance with Ontario regulations.

Requires a university or college degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or biology with 1-2 years of environmental consulting experience. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and technical knowledge of O.Reg. 153/04 and O.Reg. 406/19.
