Job Description We are looking for a diligent and experienced Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. As a Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's information systems and data from potential threats. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to the development and maintenance of robust security measures. Responsibilities Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze security alerts, incidents, and events to identify potential security threats. Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans to effectively address and mitigate security incidents. Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, analyze results, and collaborate with IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities. Security Policies: Contribute to the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and standards. Security Audits: Perform security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security requirements. Security Awareness: Conduct security awareness training for employees and promote a security-conscious culture within the organization. Threat Intelligence: Stay informed about the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices through threat intelligence sources. Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders to implement and maintain security controls. Skills Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or CISM are highly desirable. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a related field, with a proven track record of identifying and mitigating security risks. Technical Skills: Proficient in security information and event management (SIEM) tools. Experience with intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS). Familiarity with network security technologies and protocols. Knowledge of endpoint protection and antivirus solutions. Understanding of security frameworks and standards. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and respond to security incidents effectively. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and across departments to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to security. Adaptability: Capability to adapt to evolving security threats, technologies, and organizational needs.
