Our manufacturing client, part of a globally recognized group, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their collaborative Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation in financial accounting and take their career to the next level. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to a broad range of accounting functions, including month-end close, inventory and cost accounting, tax, financial reporting, and analysis, while working closely with Supply Chain, Production, and other cross-functional teams. This is a hands-on position within a small team, offering the opportunity to wear multiple hats, work closely with the business, and develop broad accounting expertise. Key Responsibilities Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting Prepare and execute tax filings, including applicable Canadian sales tax requirements Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations Support inventory valuation, cost accounting, and related adjustments Gain hands-on exposure to manufacturing accounting and production processes Prepare and analyze financial information and reporting Develop and maintain KPI reporting to support Plant Operations Partner with Supply Chain, Production, and other operational teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making Support intercompany accounting and foreign currency transactions Contribute to process improvements and take on additional responsibilities as your knowledge and experience grow What We're Looking For 1-3 years of accounting experience Inventory and cost accounting in a manufacturing setting is required Candidates from public accounting with exposure to manufacturing clients and inventory accounting will be considered Strong Excel and Power BI skills Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and willing to wear multiple hats Fully on-site availability is required Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today.
