Our client, a well-established Burlington-based manufacturer, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead all purchasing and supply chain activities for their operation. Reporting directly to a senior executive, the Procurement Manager will work closely with operations, engineering, production, and suppliers to ensure material availability, cost control, inventory optimization, and successful execution of customer projects. What our client has to offer: $90,000-$110,000 total compensation package, including profit sharing Group benefits Opportunity to lead a successful purchasing department. 100% in-office position in Burlington or Milton. Responsibilities Manage procurement of raw materials, packaging, consumables, and other operational requirements. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, including international vendors. Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, and supply agreements. Oversee inventory control and material requirements planning (MRP). Partner with operations and production teams to support scheduling and ensure uninterrupted manufacturing. Monitor supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities. Support customer product development and manufacturing projects by tracking timelines, materials, and costs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing and supply chain functions. Qualifications Minimum 8 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience with international sourcing and supplier management. Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field. Purchasing or supply chain certification/designation is considered an asset. Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, inventory management, MRP systems, and contract negotiation. Experience working in a small to mid-sized organization is preferred. Self-motivated professional who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the function. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
