ELEKS is looking for a Senior Data Architect (PostgreSQL + Graph Databases) in Canada. Alberta-based candidates are strongly preferred (Calgary or Edmonton). Canada-based candidates will also be considered. The solution serves government organizations and enterprise customers operating in highly regulated and security-sensitive environments, where reliability, accountability, and trust are essential. The platform supports intelligent decision-making across strategic planning, workforce intelligence, and organizational operations, helping customers leverage AI without compromising security, compliance, or control over their data. \n REQUIREMENTS 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, optimization, and data modeling Experience designing large-scale relational data platforms Experience working with Graph Databases (Neo4j, Neptune, TigerGraph, etc.) Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and modern data platforms Experience with cloud-native database services Familiarity with semantic data modeling is a plus Experience supporting AI and analytics platforms Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English RESPONSIBILITIES Design scalable enterprise data architecture using PostgreSQL and graph technologies Define logical and physical data models Lead database modernization initiatives Optimize database performance and scalability Define integration strategies between relational and graph databases Collaborate with AI and platform engineering teams Support technical discovery and solution design Create architecture standards and governance documentation Guide engineering teams throughout implementation \n

Design and implement scalable enterprise data architectures using PostgreSQL and graph technologies. Lead database modernization, optimize performance, and define integration strategies between relational and graph databases.

Requires over 8 years of experience in data architecture with expert knowledge of PostgreSQL and graph databases. Candidates must be proficient in data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud-native services with strong English communication skills.
