Elevation Technical Services is building a next-generation service offering that combines survey, reality capture, and digital construction workflows and we’re looking for the right person to be part of it. This isn’t a traditional CAD or VDC role. You’ll be working at the intersection of field data and digital delivery, transforming real-world site conditions into accurate models, insights, and deliverables that directly impact how projects are built. From processing survey data and point clouds to supporting QA/QC workflows and model coordination, you’ll be hands-on with cutting-edge tools and workflows that are redefining construction. Key Responsibilities Survey Data Processing & CAD Deliverables Process survey data and develop deliverables using Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and related tools Generate surfaces, alignments, and construction layout files Produce as-built drawings, topographic plans, and quantity outputs Support data preparation for field crews and machine control workflows Reality Capture & QA/QC Integration Process and manage point cloud data from 3D laser scanning platforms Perform as-built vs design comparisons and tolerance analysis Support QA/QC workflows including pre-pour verification, embed checks, and structural validation Assist in integrating scan data into CAD and BIM environments VDC / BIM Coordination Support Support model coordination and integration using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Assist with clash detection, model reviews, and coordination workflows Contribute to model-based deliverables and project reporting Data Management & Digital Delivery Maintain organized project data environments within platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and Trimble Connect Ensure data accuracy, version control, and consistency across deliverables Support development of internal workflows, standards, and automation Field Integration & Support Coordinate with survey and field teams to ensure accurate and complete data capture Participate in site visits to support validation and understand project conditions Assist with troubleshooting data discrepancies between field and model Qualifications & Experience Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, BIM/VDC, or a related field 2–5+ years of experience in survey CAD, VDC, or digital construction workflows Eligible for or pursuing C.Tech, AScT, or similar professional designation Strong proficiency in: Trimble Business Center Trimble Realworks Cloud Engine AutoCAD Civil 3D Working knowledge of: Autodesk Revit Navisworks ACC Experience with point clouds and reality capture workflows is strongly preferred Strong understanding of survey principles and coordinate systems Familiarity with construction workflows in civil and/or building projects High attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets Strong problem-solving and communication skills What We Offer Opportunity to work at the intersection of survey, reality capture, and VDC Exposure to advanced workflows that connect field data directly to construction outcomes A collaborative, employee-owned company with strong growth momentum Competitive compensation and benefits Clear career growth into senior technical or leadership roles Work Environment This is a hybrid role with a primary focus on office-based processing, coordination, and data management, along with occasional field exposure to support data validation, site integration, and project execution.
