Completing a minimum of 400 hours of in-person teaching within a 10-month school year in these communities unlocks $4,000 in federal loan forgiveness in the first year, increasing annually up to a maximum of $8,000 in the fifth year. Qualifications Bachelor of Education Must be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate Effective organization and classroom management skills Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged Excellent verbal and written skills Experience or familiarity analyzing data and using data to inform decision and/or instruction Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis.
