About the role: As part of a business change to move Supply Chain Management from a Centralized Model to a Centre-Led Model, an exciting opportunity exists for Supply Chain Management senior leaders to fill 4 new roles at the operations and lead to site Warehouse, Procurement and Contracts teams, supported by the centralized team. Reporting to the General Manager(s), the Manager(s), Supply Chain is responsible for the integrated delivery and management of Purchasing, Contracts, Warehousing and Contractor Management functions at an EVR Mine Site. This role ensures the safe, reliable and cost-effective supply of goods and services required to support continuous mining operations, while maintaining alignment with EVR’s SafeCoal culture and Glencore governance, assurance and control frameworks. As the senior site supply chain leader, the Manager(s), Supply Chain works closely with Central Supply Chain Management, site operations, maintenance, finance and external suppliers. The role provides overall accountability for supply chain performance, working capital management, contract compliance, inventory optimization, contractor compliance, audit readiness and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational reliability and business performance. To be successful, we are looking for people with strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills who can effectively collaborate across multiple teams and functions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, results-focused and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. Strong problem-solving, decision-making and continuous improvement skills are essential, along with the ability to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and suppliers. Working a compressed work week with alternating Fridays off, come experience what work life balance is all about! \n In this role you will: Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies Lead and promote EVR's SafeCoal culture across all supply chain activities, ensuring compliance with HSEC standards and driving a zero-harm environment. Provide leadership, coaching, and development for supply chain teams across contracts, procurement, purchasing, and warehousing functions. Ensure effective management of contracts throughout their lifecycle, including governance, supplier performance, negotiations, and compliance requirements Oversee procure-to-pay activities, ensuring adherence to delegation of authority, procurement policies, and internal control requirements. Direct warehousing and inventory management activities to maintain safe operations, inventory accuracy, material traceability, and operational readiness Drive inventory optimization, working capital management, and reduction of obsolete or surplus inventory while maintaining operational reliability. Maintain audit readiness and ensure compliance with internal controls, assurance programs, regulatory requirements, and anti-corruption standards Partner with, Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Finance, and Central Supply Chain teams to support shutdowns, projects, and critical operational activities. Lead supply chain risk management initiatives to ensure continuity of supply, mitigate disruptions, and support business resilience. Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and digital enablement initiatives through effective use of ERP systems and performance data Safety leadership and visible commitment to a zero-harm workplace culture. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex operational and commercial challenges. Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills across operational, corporate, and external partners. Ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering accountability and collaboration. Strategic thinking combined with strong execution and operational decision-making capabilities. Commercial and financial acumen with a focus on value creation, cost optimization, and working capital performance. Data-driven decision-making utilizing ERP systems, analytics, and performance metrics. Ability to lead organizational changes and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance business performance. Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation capabilities. Sound judgment and integrity in applying governance, compliance, and ethical business practices. Requirements: Minimum 10 years of progressive Supply Chain Management experience within mining, heavy industry, or a comparable industrial environment Demonstrated leadership experience managing integrated supply chain functions, including procurement, contracts, and warehousing. Knowledge of contract management, strategic sourcing, and commercial negotiations. Experience with procurement governance, internal controls, and delegation of authority requirements.
