You as a Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator will: Be responsible for site specific safety orientation, job site inspections and accident/incident reports Monitor employees and subcontractors on site to ensure compliance to safety procedures and escalate issues to resolution Proactively identify and prevent hazardous situations and take necessary measures to correct them Organize and conduct training programs including but not limited to: WHMIS, Fall Protection, Personal Protection Equipment, CPR/First Aid Create, maintain, and educate all site staff on maintaining a safety first culture Review subcontractors’ pre‑construction safety submittals. Review and file subcontractors’ weekly safety documentation. Effectively compile weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly project health and safety statistics Is this the right role for you? The Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator is responsible for conducting site safety orientations, inspections, and incident reporting. They also monitor site compliance, identify hazards, and organize safety training programs for staff and subcontractors.

Candidates must have 3-5 years of construction safety experience and hold or be working toward an NCSO designation. A valid Advanced First Aid certification for Alberta and eligibility for CSID Secret Level Security Clearance are also required.
