What We're Looking For ✅ 442A Industrial Electrician License (Mandatory) ✅ Electrical Engineering Degree, Electrical Technologist Diploma, or equivalent technical education ✅ Minimum 6 years of experience working with industrial automation and PLC-controlled equipment ✅ Strong experience with Allen-Bradley Logix and Siemens S7 PLC platforms ✅ Experience designing, programming, commissioning, and supporting automated control systems ✅ Solid understanding of industrial instrumentation, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and electrical distribution systems ✅ Strong troubleshooting skills in high-volume manufacturing environments ✅ Self-motivated professional who can manage projects independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams ✅ Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities What You'll Be Doing ✔ Design, improve, and maintain electrical control systems supporting automated manufacturing operations ✔ Develop and modify PLC, HMI, and drive programs to improve equipment reliability and production performance ✔ Create and update electrical schematics, control documentation, and technical specifications ✔ Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and automation issues to minimize equipment downtime ✔ Support commissioning activities for new equipment, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives ✔ Develop preventive maintenance strategies for electrical and control systems ✔ Verify equipment performance while ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures ✔ Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams to implement automation improvements and optimize manufacturing processes What You'll Receive: 📍 Location: Hamilton, ON 💰 Salary: $95,000 🕒 Shift: Rotating Days & Nights 🏦 RRSP: Employer Matching Program 💵 Bonus: Performance Incentive Program 🩺 Benefits: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision & Extended Health Coverage 📈 Opportunity: Join a stable, growing manufacturer investing in technology, automation, and long-term employee development.
