Job Description The mobile boom truck operator is responsible for the distribution, loading, and offloading of our project materials, equipment, and tools. The job involves operating a stand-up crane with a boom stick that extends up to 92 ft. The ideal candidate must be certified and have experience operating a boom truck or crane. Job Functions Site mobilizations; setup of equipment, load materials, load tools, and safety equipment Site demobilization: offload materials and return to the shop, offload equipment & tools Maintaining the crane and its proper safety checks, inspectors, and maintenance Job Requirements 5+ Years of experience as a crane operator Boom Truck / Crane operator licenses 20-tonne capacity Knowledgeable of weight restrictions, operations of crane, and loading/offloading of materials & equipment Available for full-time and flexible hours of work Weight handling up to 45 kg (100 lbs.) Experience working as part of a team, as you will help on-site Experience working in the roofing or construction industry Effective and positive communication with customers is key.
