Duration Full Time Job Description The Ontario Fur Managers Federation (OFMF) is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Junior Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the Federation’s head office and provide administrative support to the General Manager and Administrative Assistant. Key Responsibilities Duties The Junior Administrative Assistant will work in a team effort carrying out duties as assigned by the Administrative Assistant in conjunction with the General Manager such as: Coordinate the issuance of trapping licenses. Maintain membership records and databases. Complete required data entry into the FURMIS system and assist with related mandatory reporting requirements. Maintain control and process Trapper Education course materials and related records. Other administrative duties as directed, including but not limited to processing correspondence and payments and acting as secretary/receptionist for the Federation’s head office. Required Skills The successful candidate will demonstrate: Post secondary education preferred. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently while working effectively with a Board, management and staff. Proficiency with standard office software, databases, email, and document management. Ability to maintain confidential information and records. Strong time-management and prioritization skills. Professional, courteous, and reliable approach to working with members, trappers, government representatives, and the public. Knowledge of trapping, fur management, hunting, wildlife management, or related activities would be considered an asset.
