This position requires enthusiastic, energetic, and compassionate individuals to provide a range of in-home services for eligible adults to support them in remaining safely and independently in their own homes and help reduce visits to the emergency department. The program is expanding its patient capacity and extending its catchment area to provide services between Echo Bay and Gordon Lake Road (Desbarats). Salary Range: $23.23-$27.35 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement for travel between patient homes. Participation in OMERS Pension Plan. Group Benefit Plan available for full-time positions. Full Job Description Here: PSW JOB DESCRIPTION Key Responsibilities Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers) Support medication routines within PSW scope Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed Provide light housekeeping related to patient care Monitor and report changes in patient condition Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety, infection control, and privacy policies Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and care team members Requirements Required Skills: PSW Certificate (Ontario-accredited or equivalent) Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (or ability to obtain) Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle CPR/First Aid and Food Safety certification (current or willing to obtain) Community-based in-home care experience considered a definite asset Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends How To Apply Qualified candidates may submit a cover letter and resume by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2026, to: Amanda Richardson, CAO/Clerk-Treasurer The Township of St. Joseph P.O. Exigences

Candidates must hold a PSW Certificate from an Ontario-accredited institution and possess a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle. A clear Vulnerable Sector Check and current CPR/First Aid and Food Safety certifications are also required.
